Karnataka elections: Bengaluru’s weekend with Prime Minister: Modi begins second leg of road show today

1 min read

Bengaluru: The second leg of ‘Bengaluru-specific’ mega road show of Prime Minister began from Thippasandra on Sunday. The road show covering 10 km stretch will culminate at Trinity Circle.

Prime Minister offered floral tributes to Kempegowda statue, architect of Bengaluru before going on a road show.

Like yesterday, enthusiastic crowd had gathered on the road sides, showering flowers on Modi. Loud background music played through the stretch as his vehicle moved on.

In view of NEET exam on Sunday, the BJP has reduced the road show to 10 km streth to avoid any inconvenience that may emerge due to the road show. The road show will be wrapped up by 11.30 am.

The road show will pass through HAL 2nd stage, Old Madras Road to culminate at Trinity Circle.

Overwhelmed by yesterday’s response to his road show in Bengaluru, PM Modi tweeted that “If only words could describe what I just saw in Bengaluru! I bow to the people of this vibrant city for showering me with affection that I will cherish for my entire life.”

As the public campaigning will be allowed only till Monday evening, BJP hopes to shine brighter this time in Bengaluru with Prime Minister’s road show.
