Karnataka elections: Bengaluru ‘Modi’fied!

Bengaluru: The much-awaited road show of Prime Minister in Bengaluru began from Someshwara Bhavan in JP Nagar and will travel up to Malleswaram covering 26 km. MPs Tejaswi Surya and PC Mohan gifted him Peta and garlanded him. They will accompany him through the road show.
The Silocon Valley of India, Bengaluru is all set to welcome the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi who is holding a historic road show – on Saturday – ahead of Karnataka Assembly elections on May 10. The enthusiasm of people was palpable as they arrived on the roads marked for road show from early morning. The whole stretch is immersed in Saffron colours as Saffron flags waved the stretch.
Otherwise the bustling City with heavy traffic, especially the roads in South Bengaluru, in Saturday, the roads wore a festive look with people queued up on the road sides to watch Prime Minister.
There were cultural troupes to perform along with other fans wearing dresses of historical characters. Scenes of people holding flower bags to shower on the Prime minister was common.
The road show will be held for a distance of 26 km covering South Bengaluru.
