Karnataka elections: Bajrang Dal calls for mass chanting of Hanuman Chalisa on May 4 in every temple

Mysuru: In its way to register severe protest against the Congress’ promise to ban Bajrang Dal – if it comes to power in the State – members of Bajrang Dal have called to chant Hanuman Chalisa in every Hanuman temples across the State on May 4.
As the days are being counted for the Assembly elections on May 10, the Congress’ manifesto – that was released recently – has invited the wrath of Hindu outfits and also from BJP leaders.
Several BJP leaders including Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai, Shobha Karandlaje, C T Ravi and Yediyurappa have expressed their strong opposition to the Congress’ promise claiming it is aimed to appease a particular community.
Continued with that, the members of Hindu outfit – Bajrang dal – have called for mass chanting of Hanuman Chalisa at every Hanuman temples on May 4.
