Mysuru: Kargil Vjay Diwas celebration is the symbol of self-respect and by taking part in the celebration, every citizen inculcates patriotism, observed former MLA L Nagendra.
Addressing a gathering during Kargil Vijay Diwas organised by Yuva Bharath organisation here at Field Marshal Cariappa Circle, the former MLA urged everyone to be indebted to the sacrifices made by valiant soldiers for the country. Mayor Shivakumar said that there is nothing bigger or important than the country and everyone must work for the country in their capacity.
Seer Ilai Alvar swami, social worker K Raghuram Vajpayee, corporator Prameela Bharat, Yuva Bharat president Jogi Manju, Hotel Owners Association president Narayangowda, BJP Mahila Morcha president Hema Nandish and others were present.
