Kannada should be passed on to next generation: Dr Dharanidevi Malagatti

Mysuru: Principal of Police Training School, Dr Dharanidevi Malagatti has spoken about the necessity of preserving and fostering Kannada language for the next generation.

Members of Samana Manaskara Vedike along with Dr Dharanidevi Malagatti at 64th Karnataka Rajyotsava celebrations at Police Layout in Mysuru.

Malagatti unfurled Kannada flag at 64th Karnataka Rajyotsava celebrations organised by Samana Manaskara Vedike at Netaji Park in Sardar Vallababai Patel Nagar ( Police Layout) on November 1 and said “Any other languages should not be treated as an enemy. The languages should be the edifice to build the nation. More we learn other languages, it will be beneficial in maintaining harmonious relationship with others”.

Malagatti bemoaned about the current situation, where people lack sense about the importance of the language.

Vedike president Thomas, members Jayapalan, Manukumar, Mohan Kumar, Nanjaiah, Shobha Dhananjaya, Veena Kamat and Siddaraje Gowda were present at the celebration.
