Mysuru: Kamala Lakkappa Gowda wife of late Prof H J Lakkappa Gowda, former Vice-chancellor of Hampi Kannada University, passed away on Friday.
She was 78 and a resident of Kuvempunagar in the city. She was suffering from brief illness.
The last rites will be performed at the burial ground behind Cauvery School, Kuvempunagar on April 5.
She is survived by her son Dr H L Ravindra Prasad, Deputy Registrar, Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), Bengaluru, daughter Prof H L Kalabharati, JSS Medical College, Mysuru and son-in-law Dr B Dinesh, Sri Jayadeva Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences and Research, Mysuru.
