K R Nagar taluk government employees association helps flood survivors

Mysuru: Members of K R Nagar taluk government employees association have responded to the plight of flood survivors at Hanasoge village in the district on Tuesday.

A family of Chikkarangaiah had to vacate their house after overflowing river Cauvery entered their house recently, destroying all the household articles.

They had been shifted to BCM Hostel in the village. Understanding their needs, the association distributed blankets, towels, shirts, sarees and other essential materials to them.

K R Nagar Tahsildar Manjula and Deputy Tahsildar M S Yadu Girish the president of the association distributed the materials.

A cheque for Rs 3,800 was also given under calamity relief fund.

State Government Employees Association, State secretary K V Ramesh, director Sannaswamy, Revenue Inspector Sharath, Village Accountant Sudhakar, Madhu, Praveen and Hemesh of department of health and family welfare were present.
