K R Nagar police seize road damaging gauge wheel tractors

Mysuru: K R Nagar police seized six tractors with gauge wheels on Sunday. The gauge wheels were damaging the roads in the district.
Following the instructions from MLA Sa Ra Mahesh to initiate action, the police team led by PSI Chetan stopped only those tractors with gauge wheels used for transplanting paddy saplings in the taluk.
Two each tractors were seized at Hebbal and Hosur and one each at Cheeranahalli and Basavarajapura.
PSI Chetan told Mysoorunews.com “the tractors will be released only after verifying documents and collecting fine after taking an undertaking from the owners that they will not repeat the offence”.
The team included head constable Shanthakumar, Dhananjaya, Jawaresh and Pradeep.
