Jumbo that attacked farmer captured in Gundlupet

Gundlupet: A wild elephant that had attacked a farmer and raided his banana plantation near Gundlupet has finally been captured and sent to Rampura elephant camp in Bandipur forest on Wednesday.
The tusker had strayed out from Bandipur tiger reserve and had been roaming around Hanchipura village in Gundlupet taluk since a week. It not only destroyed the banana plantation but had also attacked farmer Devarajappa.
With the help of Dasara jumbo Abhimanyu and other three elephants, forest officials captured the wild elephant and shifted it to Rampura camp.
