Journalist rescues tree snake near deputy commissioner’s office

Mysuru: Covid19 has restricted people to their houses, while natural creatures are coming out to feel the unperturbed environment.

A snake slithering on the road near Deputy Commissioner’s office in the city was rescued by a journalist.

It was a bronze backed tree snake belonging to non- venomous species.

Mysuru Mithra and Star of Mysore Correspondent M T Yogesh Kumar who saw the reptile in the middle of the road, caught it and released at nearby park.

Photo journalists Lakshminarayana Yadav and Hampa Nagaraj who saw Yogesh in action, clicked the photos with the latter posing without any fear. He has shared the photos on his Facebook wall too.

Yogesh is a wildlife enthusiast and he is known for his wildlife related stories.
