Tumakuru: A journalist and wildlife enthusiast Rohit B R (36), who came to town to spend holidays, met his tragic end.
The incident occurred when he went to swim in a well at a plantation in Sadaranahalli near Kyathsandra.

Rohit was working as a correspondent for the Times of India in Bengaluru. As it was a Saturday, he had come to his father’s home in Sadaranahalli. When friends went to swim in their farmhouse well, Rohit also followed them. However, his head banged against the rock resulting in his death on the spot.
Fire and emergency services personnel and Kyathsandra police rushed to the spot and retrieved the body.
