Journalist ends life in Tiptur

Tiptur: A 45-year-old journalist has committed suicide in Tiptur in Tumakuru on September 25.
Halli Suresh a native of Nagaraghatta Melahalli on Tiptur- Turuvekere road is that journalist. Suresh was working as a Tiptur stringer for reputed Kannada daily- Prajavani.
He had hanged himself when his wife had gone outside to the farm. His son had gone to school at that time.
The incident came to know after his wife came home in the afternoon.
According to sources close to the family, Suresh was unwell from sometime and repeated medication had not helped in reviving his condition.
He was upset and may have taken the extreme step.
The last rites will be performed at the family farm on September 26 at 10 am.
