Journalist dies of Covid infection in city hospital

Mysuru: A journalist in the city has died of Covid-19 infection on Sunday.
Pavan Hetthur (35) who was a reporter/ sub- editor at Prajavani, Mysuru bureau is the deceased person.
He was undergoing treatment at a hospital in the city. As his condition deteriorated, all efforts made to revive his condition proved futile.
A native of Hetthur in Sakleshpur taluk in Hassan district, Pavan had worked in Kasturi TV and Vijayavani before joining Prajavani Kannada daily.
The last rites will be conducted at his native.
He leaves behind his wife and twin sons and a large number of relatives and friends.
