Journalist Amshi Prasanna Kumar’s latest work “Samsat Darshana” to hit stands on August 27

Mysuru: “Samsat Darshana” the latest from the stable of senior journalist and writer Amshi Prasanna Kumar will be hitting the stands on August 27 at Rani Bahaddur Auditorium at 10.30 am.
As the title suggests, it’s about the parliamentary scenario of Mysuru, Mandya and Chamarajanagar districts in Kannada.
The programme has been organised under the joint aegis of Kannada Sahitya Parishat, Mysuru district unit and Samvahana Prakashana.
Along with this book, a critical analysis of Amshi’s other works- Kaadu Jeevana and Samajamukhi Srisamanyaru- authored by Assistant Prof, University of Mysore, evening college, Dr C D Parashuram titled “Kaadu Janara Haadu Paadu” will be released same day.
Chamarajanagar MP V Sreenivas Prasad will release “Samsat Darshana” and MLC A H Vishwanath will release “Kaadu Janara Haadu Paadu.”
Mysuru- Kodagu MP Prathap Simha will preside over the ceremony.
Prof Nilgiri M Talwar will speak on the books, while MCDCC Bank former chairman C Basavegowda will be the chief guest.
Kannada Sahitya Parishat, Mysuru district unit president Dr Y D Rajanna and publisher D N Lokappa will be present.
Amma Ramachandra and troupe will render invocation.
As inaugural offer, both the books will be available at discount rate of Rs 100.
