JD(S) party chief will take call on tickets to deserving candidates: Nikhil

Mysuru: The JDS party chief is the right person to decide on the tickets for candidates, observed JD(S) Youth leader Nikhil Kumaraswamy.
At the mammoth rally organized at Daripura by JD(S) MLA GT Devegowda to celebrate his son’s birthday, Nikhil said he was not the right person to comment on the ongoing JD(S) ticket row and the JD(S) president will take a call on it.
It may be recalled here that JD(S) MLA HD Revanna’s wife Bhavani Revanna openly said that she was the party candidate from Hassan constituency, creating ripples in the party. She was supported by her family and supporters creating further rifts in the party circle.
“Suraj Revanna is my brother and in family, such confusions do happen. But, there is no confusion now as the party senior leaders will decide on the tickets for deserving candidates,” said Nikhil.
