Mysuru: Amid speculations of migration to Congress from BJP and JD(S), former JD(S) MLA C S Puttaraju’s quiet visit to Chamundi Hills on Tuesday has sparked curiosity among political watchers. For some days now, rumours are rife that Puttaraju may jump the ship and his visit to Chamundi Hills along with Rajya Sabha MP Kupendra Reddy has given wings to these speculations.
Interestingly, earlier, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah along with his deputy D K Shivakumar had visited Sri Chamundeshwari temple to offer puja to the goddess for the success of Gruha Lakshmi scheme to be launched in the City on Wednesday.
Although Puttaraju did not meet the Congress leaders, his surprise visit coinciding with Congress leaders’ visit has sparked curiosity.
