JDS-BJP eyes Zilla, Taluk Panchayat elections

1 min read

New Delhi: Ahead of the upcoming Zilla and Taluk Panchayat elections in Karnataka, JDS Youth President Nikhil Kumaraswamy met with BJP state in-charge Radha Mohan Das Agarwal to discuss strategies for ensuring smooth coordination between JDS and BJP in the state.

Nikhil Kumaraswamy is scheduled to meet Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Monday to seek necessary guidance and suggestions to strengthen the NDA alliance in Karnataka, particularly with a focus on local body elections.

The Home Minister has already scheduled a meeting with Nikhil on Monday, and in preparation for the discussion, Nikhil held talks with Radha Mohan Das Agarwal in New Delhi on Friday.

During the recent Lok Sabha elections, the JDS-BJP alliance mounted a strong fight against the Congress, achieving remarkable results.

“The people of Karnataka have faith in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, and there is a need to preserve and build upon this trust by working together,” Nikhil reportedly told Agarwal.

This development has been confirmed by Nikhil Kumaraswamy himself.
