Janardhan Reddy’s wife to contest from Ballari

Ballari: Mining baron G Janardhan Reddy’s wife Aruna Lakshmi will contest from Ballari from Kalyana Rajya Pragathi Paksha in the upcoming Assembly elections.
Announcing his second innings in the State politics, Reddy had launched Kalyana Rajya Pragathi Paksha, recently. On Tuesday, he announced that while he will contest from Gangavathi in Koppal district, his wife will be the candidate for Ballari constituency. Interestingly, BJP leader G Somashekhar Reddy is the sitting MLA from Ballari. If the party fields Somashekhar Reddy, then it will be an interesting fight between and Aruna Lakshmi and her brother-in-law.
Ever since he launched his new party, Reddy has been busy touring the districts, especially Hyderabad Karnataka region to seek people’s support in his second innings. On Tuesday, he visited Anegundi in Koppal district.
