‘Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan’ reverberates at Christ College

Mysuru: ‘Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan’ a popular slogan to conserve environment by promoting farming reverberated at Christ College campus in the city on Saturday.
Former Corporator R Balasubramanyam popularly known as ‘ Snake’ Shyam reiterated the slogan in his world environment day address at the college. It was also his special thanks to farmers and soldiers.
Shyam who administered the oath of protecting environment to students, highlighted that ‘ Nature is God’ and ‘ Nature is equal to mother’.
Shyam along with christities, planted a sapling to make the day complete.
Principal Rev Fr Biju P D chaired the session.
Academic coordinator Rev Fr Suraj Abraham, Financial Administrator Shojy Jacob, Eco Club Coordinator Rashmi P D and Johnson W S were present.
