Jai Guru Datta! Ganapathy Sachchidananda Ashram opens branch in Varanasi

Mysuru: Avadhoota Datta Peetham’s Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Ashram has opened its branch at Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh.

Ganapathy Sachchidananda Swamiji and his pontiff Sri Datta Vijayananda Teerta Swamiji inaugurated the branch on November 10.

Sachchidananda Swamiji said “The Kashi ashram is a dream come true as a piligrimage to Kashi is greatly revered in our scriptures. If a devotee spends a night in Kashi, it will help in relieving from sins, three nights will wipe out family sins and nine nights is a relief from the bond between life and death”.

Puja was offered to Chintamani Ganapathy temple, and Swamiji sprinkled holy water on the idols of Dattatreya and Hanuman to complete the rituals of consecrating the idols.

Kashi based scholars met Swamiji in the evening.

Shashishekar Bharati known as Ananda Swamiji, Bala Swamiji, Mani from Kanchi Mutt, Veda Nidhi Rama Ganapathy, Rajesh Agraval, architect and builder of Ashram Anil Kinjavdekar and Kamal Kapoor who oversaw the project were present.
