It’s Frosting! Feel the taste of Thailand in ‘Namma Mysuru’

Mysuru: Buddha in meditation, a bust of Buddha in monastery, Buddhist temple and many more all in the form of cake are on exhibition in the backdrop of deftly woven coconut fronds.

Frosting a city based restaurant that specializes in baked goodies and Italian food is back with its annual cake exhibition and Thailand delicacy festival “The Taste of Thai” at its premises in V V Mohalla.

The 12-day festival that kicked off on December 19 was inaugurated by journalist Vikram Muthanna and Frosting founder Aparna Ranga.
 
With Christmas round the corner followed by New Year, the restaurant exhibits exquisite cakes that are not only visually enchanting but a delightful experience for the taste buds as well. Each and every scrumptious cake displayed by the chefs here are masterpieces.

The restaurant will showcase their supreme baking prowess, along with a variety of scrumptious delicacies and their newest dishes in the menu this year.
 
The cake exhibition in its third edition is presenting cakes in the most unique and unheard of designs and shapes.

Taste the Thai” Food Festival offers a taste of Thailand to the food lovers. The menu has Thai Spring Roll, Vegetable noodles soup with tofu & lemon grass, Thai glass noodle salad, Grilled Tofu with Peanut Butter Sauce, Thai Raw mango chicken curry etc,

Such kinds of events are meant to celebrate the rich Thailand culture and connect with people to celebrate the festivity together. The 12-day event aims to bring together food enthusiasts and visitors from various backgrounds and nationalities. 

Journslist Vikram Mutthanna said “alluring and luscious range of cakes have been specially designed for the occasion of Christmas and New Year. It not only tempts the taste buds but also makes an elegant piece visually.
