ISKCON’s Akshay Patra Foundation donates 1000 food kits to Mandya district administration

Mandya: International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) Akshay Patra Foundation, Bengaluru, handed over 1000 essential food kits to the district administration on Wednesday.
Deputy Commissioner C Ashwathi who received the kits, said, “the kits will be distributed at the containment zones in seven taluks of the district.”
Next week, 5,000 food kits are expected from Azim Premji Foundation. It will benefit people in large numbers, said DC.
District officer of backward classes welfare department G S Somashekar was present.
