Bengaluru: Kannada and Culture Minister C T Ravi stoked a controversy by equating former minister and Chamarajpet MLA B Z Zameer Ahmed Khan with Mohammed Ali Jinnah founder of Pakistan.
Ravi who has taken a strong exception to Zameer’s stand with relation to the row that has erupted over the visit of health workers to Padarayanapura, questioned- Is Zameer, Mohammed Ali Jinnah to seek his permission to go there? Jinnah founded Pakistan to seek his permission. Is Padarayanapura owned by Zameer’s father? Even if that’s the case, all should abide by law.
Zameer is in the line of fire for his stand sounding against the health workers, who according to him should have waited for an appropriate time to visit Padarayanapura, where 19 people have tested positive for the virus.
