Irrespective of constituency, Siddaramaaiah is a winner for sure: Dhruvanarayana

Mysuru: Former chief minister Siddaramaiah is a popular leader and wherever he wishes to contest, he will sweep the polls, said former MP R Dhruvanarayan.
Speaking to mediapersons here on Tuesday, Dhruvanarayan, who is also the working president of Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee said Siddaramaiah has a huge following and he is sure of victory irrespective of the constituency he contests from. He further said that his candidature from Kolar will not have any impact on Congress’ outcome in Mysuru. The party will always seek votes on developmental issues unlike BJP and JD(S) that fight elections on caste issues, he observed.
Taking a dig at Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai who recently stated that he was a follower of Ambedkar and his ideologies, Dhruvanarayan dared the chief minister to show Ambedkar’s ideologies that have been incorporated in his governance.
“BJP remembers dalits and Ambedkar only during elections. People will understand their political strategy and know their true colours,” he mocked.
