IPS officer D Roopa and IAS officer Rohini Sindhuri indulge in public spat

Bengaluru: IPS officer Roopa D Moudgil on Sunday, levelled serious allegations against IAS officer Rohini Sindhuri including even mediating with JD(S) MLA Sa Ra Mahesh, who had raised several issues against her.
IPS officer Roopa even went on to allege that IAS officer Rohini Sindhuri has been sending “objectionable pictures” of her to some male colleagues.
IPS officer took to her social media platform and shared some of IAS Rohini Sindhuri’s personal pictures alleging she sent them personally to some of her male colleagues. Not just that she even uploaded a picture of IAS officer Rohini Sindhuri with JD(S) MLA Sa Ra Mahesh in what appears to be a meeting in a hotel and questioned her integrity.
In a long note of questions uploaded on social media, IPS officer Roopa sought to know why the IAS officer met JD(S) MLA Sa Ra Mahesh who had levelled allegations against her. “There are serious charges of corruption against IAS officer Rohini Sindhuri. But the State government is protecting her,” alleged the IPS officer Roopa in her social media post.
“Sindhuri had botched the numbers with regard to construction of toilets in Mandya to bag an award from the Central government. No action was taken against her when 24 persons died due to lack of oxygen in Chamarajanagar during Covid wave. There is no word on initiating a departmental inquiry against her despite allegations of Sindhuri constructing a swimming pool at Mysuru DC residence – during her tenure – which is a heritage building. Can Kannadiga officers get such protection from the government,” IPS officer charged. She further charged that her alleged role in driving IAS officer DK Ravi to commit suicide has not been investigated, yet.
She even went on to allege that IAS officer’s husband is involved in real estate and the officer is allegedly misusing her position for their benefit. “IAS officer Rohini Sindhuri is building a villa in her husband’s name in Bengaluru and she is importing materials from abroad. I have documents for all that,” alleged IPS officer Roopa.
IPS officer Roopa further went on to allege that IAS officer Rohini Sindhuri shared some of her personal pictures with her male colleagues, which is against the Code of Conduct of officers.
As the pictures went viral, IAS officer Rohini Sindhuri hit out at IPS officer stating “IPS officer D Roopa has a mental health issue and it is her modus operandi to make personal allegations to defame anyone.” She warned of legal action against IPS officer for defaming her.
“She collected photos from my social media accounts to defame me. As she has alleged that I sent these pics to some officials, I urge her to reveal their names,” IAS officer said.
Meanwhile, IAS officer Late DK Ravi’s wife H Kusuma Hanumantharayappa’s cryptic tweet has left many surprised. She tweeted that “Karma will get back to you, sooner or later it surely will.” Interestingly, IPS officer D Roopa has shared Kusuma’s tweet and tweeted back “Kusuma, I understand you pain as a woman. And the pain of many other women (some of them IAS), yet helpless. But finally, someone has to stand up against the perpetrator (even if she is a woman). With u on this matter. May God give “her” empathy and sadbuddhi not to repeat.”
