International Coffee Day: Sip the beverage at Raja Seat
1 min readMadikeri: Coffee Board has organised International Coffee Day celebration at Raja Seat at 4 PM.
As part of the celebration, unique coffee will be given to the tourists free of cost.
Horticulture department deputy director Pramod stated that “we are celebrating International Coffee Day at Raja Seat and will distribute coffee to the tourists and public alike”.
Kodagu is the main coffee production region in India and stands second in Karnataka.
Annually 1.10 metric tonnes coffee is produced and Kodagu contributes 35 % of coffee to the total output in the country.
Ministry of Commerce and Industries has also identified Kodagu Coffee under One District one Crop scheme.
