Intensify door-to-door survey, plan constituency-wise Covid Care Centres, DC tells MCC officers

Mysuru: Deputy Commissioner Rohini V Sindhuri on Saturday suggested a slew of plans to Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) to strengthen the fight against Covid-19 pandemic.
In a meeting with Mysuru City Corporation commissioner and staff regarding Covid management, DC Rohini Sindhuri advised to intensify door-to-door survey to map the symptomatic cases.
She also suggested to open Covid care centers in each constituencies and if possible zone wise.
All urban PHCs, corporation health officers and corporation staff along with Ward Level Task Force (WLTF) must participate in this door to door survey.
Taluk officials have started door-to-door survey with Asha workers and anganwadi workers for the early screening of all as essential requirement.
By the end of May, all door-to-door survey of taluks and city should be completed on the lines of pulse polio campaign, said DC.
MCC commissioner Shilpa Nag, Health officers were present.
