Infosys Foundation provides 1,000 ration kits to MCC

Mysuru: Infosys Foundation has come to the rescue of 1000 families due to Covid-19 pandemic by providing them 1000 ration kits. 

The kits contain daily essentials for cooking including rice, lentils, oil, flour etc., which will be distributed amongst the low-income groups, migrant labourers and unorganized sector labourers. 
Following a request by the Mysuru City Corporation Commissioner Gurudutta Hegde, Sudha Murty, Chairperson of Infosys Foundation agreed to provide ration kit. MCC Commissioner appreciated Sudha Murty for swiftly responding to the call in just a day. 
The request was conveyed through Fathaheen Misbah, an Infoscion who is also a member of the Covid-19 Sahaya Task Force, formed by the Department of Information and Public Relations.
Biligiri Rangaswamy of MCC,  JayaSimha JD Town Planning, Shaji Mathew of Infosys, Yogatma Srihari of G.S.S Foundation and Raghavendra Udupa of Infosys were present.
