Indira Gandhi jayanti celebrated at Congress office in Mysuru

Mysuru: The jayanti of former prime minister of India late Indira Gandhi was celebrated at Indira Congress Bhavan in the city on Saturday.
Mysuru district city and rural Congress committee had organised the Jayanti.
As part of the occasion, floral tributes were offered to the portrait of the late former prime minister, who is still remembered for her astute leadership qualities.
Former MLAs M K Somashekar and Vasu, former mayors T B Chikkanna and Pushpalatha Chikkanna, former Taluk Panchayat President Manjula Manjunath, former Corporators Shivanna, M Pradeep Kumar and Ashok, Dr Sujatha Rao, former Mysore Paints and Varnish Ltd Chairman H A Venkatesh, City Congress President R Murthy and rural Congress Committee President Dr B J Vijaykumar and others were present.
