1 min read

Mysuru: With eight persons testing positive for Covid-19 in Mysuru, the district administration has formed ‘Incident Commander Team’ to work on a war-footing to check the rapid spread of Coronavirus across the district.

Until now, Deputy Commissioner Abhiram G Shankar headed the team that worked tirelessly to prevent the spread of the virus.

With the Incident Commander Teams in place now, fighting against the deadly virus would be more effective now. These teams will be headed by KAS officers, zonal assistant commissioners and Assistant Executive Engineers.

These teams will check on the grocery stocks, implement and manage social distancing, take charge of quarantine camps and keep a vigil on health care amidst the lockdown.

There are nine each ‘Incident Commanders’ in MCC and MUDA and 16 commanders have been deputed in taluks and town municipalities to fight Covid 19 in Mysuru district.
