In just 7 months, Praveen Nettaru’s wife loses job in new govt; BJP fumes revenge politics

Bengaluru: Is the Siddaramaiah government resorting to revenge politics after it came to power? At least that’s what the BJP claims as BJP leader Praveen Nettaru’s widow has now lost the job that she was offered after her husband’s gruesome murder by the then chief minister’s office.
Deceased Nettaru’s wife Nuthan Kumari was offered Senior Assistant’s job (Group C) at Mangaluru Deputy Commissioner’s office on humanitarian grounds by the then chief minister Basavaraj Bommai. But now she has been allegedly relieved of her service, tweeted BJP.

Alleging revenge politics by the Siddaramaiah government, the BJP tweeted that “The Congress-nurtured PFI had taken the life of Praveen Nettaru and on humanitarian grounds, his wife was offered a job at the Mangaluru Deputy Commissioner’s office. But now the Congress government has been relieved of her service and this speaks volumes about the Congress government’s revenge politics. This is condemnable and we urge the government to withdraw its order of relieving Nuthan from her service. It is unfortunate that the Siddaramaiah government has become a PFI puppet.”
It may be recalled here that after Nettaru’s gruesome murder, BJP state president Nalin Kumar Kateel had promised to give a job to Nettaru’s wife as he was the sole breadearner of his family. She had reported to the duty on October 14.
Recently, the BJP helped in completing the construction of Nettaru’s house that had come to a standstill after his murder.
