In Covid times, Dr Raj comes alive to create awareness thru art

Mysuru: Thespian actor Dr Rajkumar wore mask on his birth anniversary to create awareness on safety norms to tackle Covid-19. This was how visual artist Yoganand paid tribute to Rajkumar on the actor’s 92nd birth anniversary on Saturday.
Yoganand who used cassette tapes made a visual display of Rajkumar, specially covered with mask in yellow and red denoting Kannada flag, all measuring 4ft× 4ft.
Yoganand told Mysoorunews.com “it’s for the second time Covid situation has shook normal life. All the corona warriors are requesting people to wear mask. Hence, I used the art media to spread the awareness,” Yoganand added.
Rajkumar still remains an unwavering influence in the state. So the mask wearing art will help in spreading a strong message to people to wear mask and fight corona, Yoganand opined.
