Mysuru: Mysuru-Kodagu MP Pratap Simha has warned the State government of protests if it fails to implement its five guarantees promised in its manifesto by June 1.

Speaking to mediapersons here on Thursday, MP Simha criticized the State government of not being the guarantor of its five guarantees that it had promised before the elections. The Congress had stated that it would implement the guarantees in the first cabinet meeting itself but nothing has been done so far.

He further said that the Congress has not mentioned anything about the terms and conditions for its guarantees. He further said that he will ask every householder in the State not to pay power bill if their power consumption is within the 200 units. He also said that the Congress promise of Rs 2000 to every woman head of the family and also free bus travel for women have not yet been implemented. He dared the government to keep its word by June 1 or face protest in the State.
