IGP, SP transferred: Ragavendra new IGP, Ryshyanth SP

Mysuru: IGP ( Southern Range) Umesh Kumaf and SP Amit Singh ( Pic above) have been transferred. Ragavendra Suhasa is the new IGP and C B Ryshyanth SP.
Suhasa was working as IGP northern range in Belagavi and Ryshyanth SP of Anti- corruption bureau ( ACB). Suhasa is the 2000 batch IPS officer of Rajasthan cadre and Ryshyanth belongs to Karnataka batch of 2013.
Ryshyanth was the ASP at Puttur sub- division in Dakshina Kannada and was later posted as SP of Vijayapura.
Umesh has been transferred as Additional Commissioner of Police ( West), Bengaluru and Amit Singh as commandant, home guards and civil defence academy, Bengaluru. They are among 19 IPS officers who were transferred on Sunday.
