IGP Praveen Madhukar Pawar inspects Moolehole checkpost, tells cops to keep tab on Cyber Cafes in borders

Chamarajanagar: IGP (Southern range) Praveen Madhukar Pawar on Wednesday inspected Moolehole checkpost in the district.
The IGP directed the police personnel to keep a tab on vehicles entering the district.
The IGP instructed the personnel to keep an eye on cyber cafes in the borders of Chamarajanagar and Kerala to ensure that nobody enters the district on the basis of fake RTPCR report.
In the case of inter-state travellers, they should mandarorily produce RTPCR negative report. To ensure genuinity of the report, the officials should develop coordination with the district administration.
According to the SOP issued, the Kerala students and workers coming to the state should undergo one week compulsory institutional quarantine. The CCTV cameras installed at the checkpost should be in fine condition, said IGP.
