I chose to contest LS polls for development of Mysuru- Kodagu constituency: Yaduveer

Bengaluru: Scion of erstwhile royal family of Mysuru Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar who has been declared as BJP candidate from Mysuru- Kodagu Lok Sabha constituency on Thursday said he decided to contest the elections in view of the development and to serve the public.

Speaking to media persons during his visit to BJP office Jagannath Bhavan at Malleshwaram in the city, Yaduveer said “When in power, we will be having opportunities to take up more development works. Prathap Simha, the present Mysuru- Kodagu MP has strove for the development of the constituency. He will be cooperating with me,” said Yaduveer in a confident tone. 

BJP State President and MLA B Y Vijayendra, Leader of Opposition in Legislative Assembly R Ashoka, former Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai, State General Secretary (Organisation) G V Rajesh, Kolar MP S Muniswamy, MLA Sharanu Salagar, State General Secretary Preetham Gowda and Secretary Sharanu Tallikeri were present.
