Eid-Ul-Fitr! Hundreds offer prayers at Idgah grounds

Mysuru: Members of Muslim community gathered at Idgah Grounds here at Tilak Nagar on Saturday to offer prayers on the auspicious occasion of Eid. Despite the harsh summer, children too participated in the prayer along with their parents.
Sir Khazi of Mysore Maulana Mohammed Usman Sharif gave out a message for peace and humanity on the occasion.
Former MLA M K Somashekar the Congress candidate of Krishnaraja Assembly constituency also took part in the Eid celebrations and wished the community members.
Earlier, the Idgah Committee informed the community members to carry an umbrella and water bottle due to high temperature.
