HR Dasara 2022: Yaduveer recalls Wadiyars contributions to erstwhile Mysore State

Mysuru: The final day program of HR Navami, the one-day industry & culture conference, “HR DASARA 2022 – An Insight to Mysuru Industrial Prosperity” was held on Thursday at SDM IMD, Chamundi Hill Road, Mysuru.
The conference was organised by Mysore HR Forum & Edin Bridge Foundation in association with Colortone Textiles, Excelsoft Technologies & IT Champs.

The final day of HR Dasara was inaugurated by Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar.
In his speech, Yaduveer emphasised on “Mysuru Industrial Prosperity” and spoke on the history of Mysore industrial development & the contribution of Wadiyars to the erstwhile Mysore State; the establishment of major industries like Mysore Lamps, Mysore Soaps, Mysore Paints, and Varnishes during Wadiyars’ regime.

He further spoke on ongoing industrial & other city development projects like the 10-lane Bengaluru-Mysuru Economic Corridor project, Multi-Modal Logistic Park (MMLP) which is coming up at Kadakola near Nanjangud, expansion of Mysore airport runway & international cricket stadium.

He also spoke on the importance of digital infrastructure development & emphasized that Karnataka, the Silicon Valley of India, is home to every major IT industry in the country and has a profound impact on the Cybersecurity & digital economy of the whole country and it is important to build a Cyber Resilient Karnataka for a cyber-safe India.
He spoke on “CYBERVERSE” an initiative towards protecting the digital economy of India and elevating India as a world leader in Cybersecurity skill development, capacity building, and R&D
The conference focused on the industrial development and overall growth of Mysuru, ongoing and upcoming industrial projects, challenges faced by industries, and the growth potential of Mysuru.

It emphasised the economic development of Mysuru, the contribution of various sectors to GDP, and new job opportunities.
It had panel discussions on India’s 1st & largest Semiconductor Plant Project (Rs. 22,900Cr),
Initiatives of Software Technology Parks of India (STPI), Mysuru, Growth of the Healthcare Industry in Mysuru, Pollution & Cultural changes due to Industrialisation.
The conference concluded with HR & CSR Excellence Awards 2022 & Cultural Programs. The cultural program included classical dance & musical concerts from various college teams.
