Mysuru: Frequent flood and land slide has been making it difficult for people to rebuild their life.
To come out with a solution with the help of science, Jnanodaya PU College in the city has organised ‘Jnanodaya Science Fest 2019’ an inter-school competition at its campus in Saraswatipuram on August 24 from 9 am to 5 pm.
Principal T S Srikanta Sharma said “Indian Space Research Organisation ( ISRO) former chairman A S Kiran Kumar will inaugurate the exhibition and interact with the students regarding basic science and its importance”.
The exhibition will focus on providing solutions to handle crisis situation at the time of flood.
High School students from Mysuru and Mandya are invited to take part in the exhibition with their models.
A specially made handbook on various formulas of science will be distributed to the students of class 10.
