Hoteliers thank state government for part considering their demands

Mysuru: Finally the hoteliers are happy for the state government lending a helping hand, by at least considering few of their demands.

Of the total seven demands, government has  considered the demand of 50 per cent exemption on property tax for the current fiscal year and also waiving off the fixed charges on three months electricity bills (CESC/BESCOM) from April to June.

This is applicable to hotels, restaurants, resorts and amusement parks.

Hotel Owners Association, Mysuru, President C Narayan Gowda who welcomed the decision of the state government thanked Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa, Opposition leader Siddaramaiah, Karnataka Pradesh Hotel Owners and Restaurants Association (KPHRA) President Chandrashekar Hebbar, Karnataka Tourism Society President Shyamaraju and FKCCI office-bearers for prodding the government in this direction.
