Hombisilu! Somanna’s last film as audience

Mysuru: Hombisilu one of the popular movies in Kannada starring Vishnuvardhan and Arathi hit the screens 41 years ago in 1978.
It was also the last fim watched in a theatre by Housing and District In-charge Minister V Somanna.
Somanna said on September 20 at the opening of a workshop on screeplay writing organised as a part of Dasara film festival, ” I dont have much liking for films. The last film I watched during the prime of my marriage was Hombisilu. However, i started napping soon after the movie started. Since then, I could not find time to watch any movies”.
Hombisilu directed by Geethapriya had music by Rajan- Nagendra.
