Hike in power tariff: Nikhil Kumaraswamy slams Government

Bengaluru: “Is this price hike for development or just broad daylight robbery? Why should the people of Karnataka pay the price for the Congress government’s corruption?” questioned Nikhil Kumaraswamy as he lashed out at the government.
Posting on his X account, he accused the Congress government of giving the people a double shock—first with the hike in milk prices and now with a 36-paise increase per unit of electricity.
“Impossible to Live Under This Expensive Government!”
Metro fares increased, bus ticket prices hiked, water bills soaring, smart meters priced 5 times higher, and now from April 1, electricity bills will go up by 36 paise per unit!
“No one can afford to live under this costly Congress administration!” Nikhil Kumaraswamy remarked sarcastically.
