Heilbronn University team from Germany visits SDMIMD Mysuru

Mysuru: As part of their ongoing international academic partnership, a team of students and faculty members from Heilbronn University Graduate School (HUGS) at Heilbronn University of Applied Sciences, Germany, visited Sri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara Institute for Management Development (SDMIMD) campus in the city.
During their visit, the group engaged in a series of insightful sessions.
S N Prasad, Director of SDMIMD, delivered an enriching session on India’s history, culture, people and business landscape, offering a comprehensive overview of the country’s rich heritage.
Mousumi Sengupta, Dean of International Relations at SDMIMD, conducted an interactive session that explored the concepts of ethics, responsibility and sustainability within the Indian context.
Additionally, Mamta Hegde, a faculty member specializing in Human Resource Management (HRM) at SDMIMD, shared her valuable perspectives on Indian business leadership.
The Heilbronn University team was led by Dr Ulrike Weingart, Professor of Family Business & Ethics, Daniel Nill, Junior Professor at the Tandem Qualification Centre for Supply Chain Management and Anastasia Zenn, Degree Programme Management.
In total, 26 students and three faculty members from Heilbronn University participated in this academic exchange.
This exchange is part of a regular student exchange program between the two institutions, with Heilbronn University’s students visiting SDMIMD each year, further strengthening the collaboration between the two institutions.
