Hebbal police arrest one, recover 27 cell phones worth Rs 2.84 lakh

Mysuru: Hebbal Police have arrested a man on the charges of burgling a cellphone showroom and have recovered 27 cellphones worth Rs 2.84 lakh from him.
The police on patrol, saw a man moving in a suspicious manner near Surya Bakery Circle at Hebbal on August 19. During interrogation he revealed about committing theft at Cell City, a mobile phone showroom at Mandi Mohalla in the city recently, after breaking open the shutter of the shop.
ACP (Vijayanagar sub-division) H S Gajendra Prasad led the team, that included Inspector R Diwakar, Sub-inspector Keerthi C Ambamma, policemen Mallikarjunappa, Ravikumar, Harish, Mahesh Hosamani, Venkatesh and Asha.
Police Commissioner B Ramesh and DCP (Crime and Traffic) S Jahnavi have congratulated the police team for busting the case.
