Heavy discharge from Kabini dam! Historical ‘Hadinaru Kaalu Mantap’ near submerged in Kapila river

Mysuru: Following the the increase in inflow of water to Kabini dam in H D Kote taluk in the district, the outflow is being maintained at 30,000 cusecs.
As a result, Kapila river at Nanjangud is flowing in full spate, with historical Hadinaru Kaalu Mantapa almost submerged in water.
According to the latest information from department of information and public relations, the inflow and outflow, storage at the reservoir and other details related to Kabini Dam are as follows.
