New Delhi: Actress turned model Harnaaz Sandhu of India is crowned ‘ Miss Universe 2021’.
Sandhu who hails from Punjab was crowned with the tiara at the beauty pageant held at Eilat at Israel.
With this, Sandhu has brought home the crown exactly 21 years after Lara Dutta also from India won the title in 2000.
While the contestants from Paraguay and South Africa were first and second runner ups respectively.
Andrea Meza of Mexico ‘Miss Universe 2020’ crowned her successor in the event that was live streamed globally. Sandhu has acted in several punjabi films.
