Happy Bakrid! Muslim brethren offer namaz at various mosques in Mysuru, Chamarajanagar

Mysuru: Muslim brethren in Mysuru and Chamarajanagar districts celebrated Bakrid with full enthusiasm on Wednesday.

Abiding by Covid safety protocol, they offered namaz at mosques in the morning hours.

The following masjid authorities in Mysuru had arranged for namaz from 6.45 AM to 9.30 AM.

Masjid-e-atta, Kesare, Masjid-e- cutchi,
Masjid near CFTRI, Masjid-e-Khairun Nisa Kessara Ajju Nagar, Ya-Allah Masjid,
Madeena-Masjid, Udaygiri, Masjid-e-Nimra, Rajiv Nagar, Masjid- E-Mohamedia, Shantinagar, Masjid-E-abubakar, Badamakan, Masjid-E-Ahle Hadees, Ghowsia Nagar, Masjid E Sawarlin, Bannimantap. Masjid E Ayesha, Kesare, Masjid E- AR Rahman, Siddiqui Nagar, Masjid-E-taqua , Ahle hadees, Ghousia Nagar, Masjid E Abu -Talha, Masjid- E- Umar Khan Durani ,
Masjid E Najeeullla, Masjid E Moula – Hussain, Masjid- E- Mubeen, Masjid E ala Hazrath, Masjid-E- Qhairulqara, Rajiv Nagar. Mashqueen masjid, Markhaz masjid Ahle Hadees, Salfia, Laskar Mohalla, Masjid E Khakisha, Masijd- E-Tippu Sultan, Masjid-E-Umar Railway workshop, Masjid Quba, Udayagiri, Masijd-E-Qasim Udayagiri, Masjid- E-Qudriya, Cutchi Women Masjid,
Masjid-E-Bilal and Anjuman E- Hussain Masjid.

As per the circular issued by minority welfare department, under secretary Mukthar Pasha not more than 50 per cent of the total capacity of mosques were allowed at a time as a precaution against Covid-19 pandemic.

Prior to namaz, thermal scanning was conducted and only those wearing mask were allowed inside the mosque.
