Hanuma Jayanthi: SP leads route march in Hunsur

Mysuru: Ahead of Hanuma Jayanthi celebration at Hunsur on December 7, the district police took out a route march in Hunsur town on Thursday.
The march was led by SP R Chetan which passed through the main thoroughfares of the town in the evening, only to instil confidence among the people.
Prior to the march, SP R Chetan along with MLA HP Manjunath held a preliminary meeting on November 26 with all the religious leaders to ensure communal harmony during the Hanuma Jayanthi celebration.
In 2017 the maiden Hanuma Jayanthi celebration led to a high drama and Mysuru -Kodagu MP Pratap Simha the brain behind the religious event detained by the police for hours.
