Hair dressers to donate Rs 50,000 for flood relief

Mysuru: Hairdressers associated with Mysore District Savita Samaja have decided to donate Rs 50,000 towards the chief minister’s calamity relief fund.
Association president N R Nagesh said on Monday “The association had earlier planned to take out a procession as part of Shivasharana Hadapada Appanna Jayanti on August 13. In the wake of flood, we have cancelled the procession and will be donating Rs 50,000 kept aside towards the expenses, for the relief fund. The amount will be given to the district administration”.
Community leaders Raju, Harish, Sowmya Rani and Madappa were present.
