Mysuru: Guard Book Foundation handed over 3700 surgical masks to Hunsur Taluk Administration on Thursday. The masks were for the use of COVID patients at Hunsur Primary Health Care centre.
The number of Covid cases have been increasing during the second wave and the main affected are the tribals, guards, their families and fringe villagers of the Nagarahole National Park.
The generous donation was initiated by Guard Book Foundation, an NGO which works towards forest conservation and supporting the forest guards of India in their conservation duties in association with Venture Out, a travel company from Bengaluru.
The masks were handed over in the presence of Hunsur MLA HP Manjunath, Tahsildar Basavaraj, Executive Officer Harish and all PDOs.
